Nancy Spooner

Founder and CEO

Nancy Spooner is a seasoned live-event producer and show caller with more than 30 years in the production trenches. From corporate meetings and national sales events to pro sporting events like the X Games, the Olympics, and the U.S. Open Tennis Championships. In 2008 she launched Tempo Live Events, built on the idea that great shows happen when great people work together and when the right crew shows up on cue and ready to roll.

Nancy’s secret sauce? A deep love for people and collaboration, a passion for mentoring freelance pros, and an obsession with solving staffing puzzles so agencies and production teams can focus on what they do best. When she’s not on a call or on site calling cues, you’ll find her outside chasing sunshine, hiking and biking through national parks, cheering on her baseball and football playing son, or soaking up surf and sunsets in Southern California. She’s also happily married to Tempo’s COO. Proof that great teams happen in life as much as on stage.

Al Bsharah is a lifelong entrepreneur and operator with 25+ years of building, scaling, mentoring, and investing in startups. He’s seen a lot (the good AND bad) when it comes to company building with his own endeavors as well as many others.

At Tempo, Al is the guy behind the curtain building the technology and systems that keep the business humming. From the CRM and workflow tools that match the right crew to the right show, to the operational processes that help Tempo scale without losing its personal touch. He brings a founder’s obsession with efficiency to everything he touches.

When he’s not streamlining operations or helping entrepreneurs, you’ll find him camping with the family, coaching his son’s flag football team, or experimenting with new technologies.

He’s also happily married to the CEO. Proof that great partnerships work on stage and off!
